bluejuice SG I don't think ECP is that nice leh.. I prefer beaches in other countries. At least the water's clearer, and you don't see the ships around.. its clear water all around..
jetta SG After experiencing some really beautiful beaches, ECP beach is bleh But when you're young, ECP is fantastic. I don't like ECP for the beach, it's the bicycle "track" that I enjoy. I introduced my kids and the hubby to it and now, each time we visit, it's something we must do. *cue music: memoriessssssss*
bluejuice SG Oh.. the bicycle track huh.. Then you can go to places like bishan park.. even siglap connector..
jetta SG When I left Sg, they were just talking about connecting the track. So it's a reality now? Wah! Shiok man! Now I can't wait for my next visit. Yipppeee!! Will the bike rental place allow you to ride their bikes over such a long distance?
jetta SG I visited the renovated lagoon food centre once. I thought it was much nicer than the old one. Anything is much nicer than the old one. I was only interested in the food. Everytime I visit, food comes first. I tell my friends, if they want to meet up, must meet up at important food locations.
jetta SG Bingo. I had a routine back then. My first stop would be at the Yami Yoghurt shop by the ECP McDonald's. (Don't know if this yoghurt place is still there.) Then I'd ride on over to the F3 or F4 parking lot area and tan for a couple of hours (no more tanning for me, regret, regret). Then I'll ride some more before hitting Lagoon hawker centre to makan. Then back to riding, relaxing in a quiet spot to read, etc, before heading home. Those were the days.
jetta SG Yah it is but I was only asking because I don't know how long it would take to ride from ECP to Bishan and back. $$$$$$ though.
jetta SG How I miss it. Sometimes I imagine myself eating chai tow kwey at Chong Pang Village hawker centre. Must be extra black with extra egg. With a nice big glass of tau huey chwee by my side. Ah..... heaven!
jetta SG Really? Is it a nice place to ride? How do you get to Ubin? Same place where you take the boat to Tekong? Sorry ah, never been to Ubin so I dunno.
